Sea Moss Gel Storage
Refrigerate after opening and use within 2–3 weeks for best quality. To extend shelf life, sea moss gel may be frozen in small portions using an airtight container or freezer-safe tray. For best results, freeze only what you will not use right away. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before use. Do not thaw at room temperature for long periods, and avoid repeatedly freezing and thawing the same portion, as this may affect freshness, texture, and quality.
Freezing Tip: Portion the gel into ice cube trays, freeze until solid, then transfer cubes to a freezer-safe bag or container. This makes it easy to thaw only what you need.
